Automotive Assembly

Torquing & spindle systems

Torquing and spindle assembly systems built for two-wheeler and automotive component lines, sized from single-station to multi-spindle simultaneous operation.

TECHNICAL FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Automotive Assembly Systems — Technical FAQ

Can torque and angle data be logged per station for traceability?

Yes — both 1-spindle and 4-spindle assembly systems log torque, angle, and takt time per cycle on the HMI and export serial-numbered inspection logs to your plant MES database over OPC-UA / Industrial Ethernet.

Can a single-spindle system be expanded to multi-spindle later?

Yes — our modular mounting plates allow expanding single-spindle heads to multi-spindle arrays when production volumes increase without replacing the main frame.

What fastener range do these systems handle?

We engineer custom socket tooling for M4 through M24 fasteners with programmable torque limits from 2 Nm up to 350 Nm.

What safety systems are integrated for operator protection?

All assembly stations feature light curtain interlocks, dual-hand anti-tie-down start buttons, emergency stop loops, and transparent polycarbonate safety enclosures.

What is the typical lead time for custom automotive assembly SPM?

Standard 1-Spindle & 4-Spindle units ship in 4–6 weeks. Fully customized multi-station lines take 8–10 weeks from 3D design approval to FAT testing.

Do you offer site installation and operator training?

Yes — Probiters application engineers perform on-site commissioning, integration with your plant conveyor, and full operator & maintenance technician training.
